Together with the City of Philadelphia and the office of Mayor Michael A. Nutter, The Junior League of Philadelphia, Inc. is proud to participate in Philadelphia's first Summer of Service Challenge: Let's Read. Let's Move. Philadelphia. This initiative is designed to get volunteers involved in activities that help young people read, exercise, and eat healthy. Fairmount Park's Meadow Lake Wetland Project

Food, drinks, tools, and plantings will all be provided! Activities will include general environmental clean-up, invasive plant removal, and planting of native plant species including the beautiful rose mallow from their nursery. This event is open to the public. Register now.
